FITCAMP FAMILY & FRIENDS CLASS: DRI-TRI FUNDRAISER BENEFITING THE PULMONARY HYPERTENSION ASSOCIATION 

 

Join us for FitCamp and bring family & friends for a FREE specialty class!!

 

As many of you know my wife, Amanda, was recently diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension. PH is a life-long, life-threatening condition that is irreversible at this point and not only is there no cure, but not enough research. I am committed to raising awareness and funds to this life altering condition so that great strides can be made to improve the lives of people afflicted with PH. I am reaching out to our EnviroFit family this year and hopefully going a little bigger each year after! 

 

Our version of a "Dri-Tri" (Dry Triathlon) will be broken down into the following :

 

LEVEL 1:

-3K Walk/Jog

-200 Body Weight Exercises 

-6 mile bike (if you don't have access or the ability to bring a bike, you will do a combo of cardio exercises and power walking) 

 

LEVEL 2:

-5K Jog/Run

-200 Body Weight Exercises 

-9 mile bike(if you don't have access or the ability to bring a bike, you will do a combo of cardio exercises and power walking) 

 

CLASS INFO:

 

WHERE: River Park (Francisco and Foster - approx 3 minutes from Gross) 

 

WHEN: Saturday, April 1st (Raindate of 4/8)

 

TIME: Check in and set up begins at 7:30. DRI-TRI begins promptly at 8:15. Time Limit: 2 HOURS

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Mat and a bike if available. 

 

The EnviroFit Dri-Tri will be limited to 50 participants. If you are currently enrolled, your spot is guaranteed as it's still a class on our regular schedule. The friends and family spots will fill up on a first come, first serve basis so make sure to register ASAP (by emailing envirofitchicago@gmail.com with your list of participants)! 

 

The suggested donation of $25 (more is always welcomed!) will benefit the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. While a donation isn't required, it's incredibly appreciated. Our goal as an EnviroFit family is to try to reach a very attainable goal of $1000!  

 

If time does not allow for you to complete the event or you don't want to participate, or only want to do parts of it, that's ok! You can do as much work as you can in the regular class time of 60 minutes and then head out! No pressure! That being said, I am extremely confident that you can ALL do this and finish strong. The point of this class is to have fun, challenge yourself and let your body surprise you with what it can do!
